Once again, Italian blind manufacturer Resstende Srl has chosen our fabrics for a project in the heart of Milan. It involves the renovation of old buildings into a modern, sustainable, urban office campus. The company has designed and manufactured 290 blinds, including 184 for interior use and 106 for exterior use.

A range of Mermet fabrics were used depending on the solar shading requirements:

Satiné 5500 colour 3006 Charcoal Bronze for the external projection blinds on the ground floor to offer optimum visual comfort
Satiné 5500 colour 0207 White Pearl on the double skin façade blinds and roof blinds, which provide excellent thermal comfort and natural light management, improving the buildings energy performance
M-Screen 5 colour 00020007 White Pearl for the internal blinds on the upper floors, which blend perfectly with the modern, sophisticated style of the offices and provide good glare control
Screen Vision 5 colour 00070001 Pearl Grey and 00020002 White for the internal blinds in the work areas to control heat and light in the offices.

This combination of fabrics provides optimum solar shading, improving the building's energy performance (LEED Gold rating) and providing thermal and visual comfort for occupants, as well as natural light and transparency.
